Thai Ginger uses the freshest possible ingredients to give guests the same authentic Thai food they would get in Thailand. Since 1996, the restaurant has been committed to only offering the best. The atmosphere is excited and energy filled, and the service is friendly and quick.

Vinason Pho Kitchen is a must-visit eatery for excellent Vietnamese food. Deeply committed to healthy, fresh ingredients, there are no hormones or antibiotics in any of the food. The kitchen also sources its ingredients from local vendors.

Sammamish Cafe and Spirits is a breakfast and lunch cafe with great food and a 1940’s theme. Familiar and warm, the cafe is designed to emulate the history and culture of the surrounding community. They also have a full-service bakery inside the cafe.

The atmosphere, flavors, and smells of Lebanon are brought to Washington at Tanoor. During the day, guests enjoy awe-inspiring views, while hanging lanterns cast a romantic, lovely atmosphere at night. Traditional Lebanese grilled dishes, mezze, desserts, hummus, and salads are offered, and the pita bread is made from scratch.

Things to Do

Outdoorsy residents have plenty of options in the community. Beaver Lake Park covers 83 acres, including a large forest and many trails to explore. On the north side of the park, access to Beaver Lake, a large meadow, and open, grassy areas give rise to a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxation or a leisurely walk. Meanwhile, the west side is more active with an off-leash dog park, three sports fields, a picnic area, and a playground.

Surrounding Beaver Lake are many hiking trails for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can trek around the Beaver Lake landscape on a quiet path along the Sauk River. The trail crosses one of the small Beaver Lakes over a bridge and ends with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. While this is an excellent hike all year, it is best in early spring or winter when the leafless trees allow for better views.

Every October, the Rotary Club of Sammamish, along with Scare Productions and the City of Sammamish, puts on the Nightmare at Beaver Lake, the largest indoor and outdoor haunted house in Seattle. A 100% volunteer-operated event, the haunted house raises money for grants to nonprofit organizations and youth scholarships.

Founded in 1955, the Beaver Lake Community Club is the perfect place for the neighbors to get to know each other. The organization has been active in the community and works towards environmental causes, such as limiting power boats from the lake in favor of peace and quiet. Some of their annual community events include the Easter Egg Hunt and the Holiday Party.
